Rosary Sisters House of Prayer is located in the Old City of Jerusalem, on the historic Latin Patriarchate Road. It is a two minute walk from the Jaffa Gate. The holy crossroads of the world are within easy walking distance. The house offers hospitality to individual guests and groups from all over the world. Our simple chapel gives visitors the liberty to enter for reflection and prayer. Visitors can also see our Museum associated with Saint Marie Alphonsine. Rosary Sisters House of Prayer is walking distance to the holy crossroads of the world from the Temple Mount to the Western Wall to the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Old City is a major pilgrimage center for Christians, Jews and Muslims worldwide.

Marie Alphonsine, founder of the Holy Rosary Congregation

Saint Marie-Alphonsine Danil Ghattas (4 October 1843 – 25 March 1927) was a Palestinian Christian nun who founded in the 19th century the Congregation of the Holy Rosary, the first Palestinian congregation in the Holy Land. She spent her life working among the poor of Palestine. She was canonized by Pope Francis on 17 May 2015.
